I have passed Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC at Disney Springs many times since it opened in 2015. Yet, it was literally just the other day, when I looked in the window and realized it was 100% gluten-free!
I was tested for my gluten-allergy in November of 2016 and am ashamed to say that, in the past year and a half, I didn’t realize that Disney Springs had a bakery where I could literally eat anything I wanted. *facepalm*
I remedied this quickly and wandered inside.
First things first: it’s super cute.
The bakery is pink and adorable…with a little bit of a retro vibe.
It’s just everything you want a bakery to be when you envision it in your mind!
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC opened in New York City in 2005 to provide delicious, sweet treats to those who have to battle food allergies. The bakery’s goodies are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and kosher.
You can check out the bakery’s website and about me page for more info on how their treats are prepared.
Needless to say, I am thrilled that Erin McKenna’s has since expanded and is now just a short drive from me at Disney Springs.

Erin McKenna’s has an extensive menu of cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, trifles and more… all gluten-free and vegan!
The bakery has received high ratings from guests on TripAdvisor, can be found in The Landing at Disney Springs- just next door to Chapel Hats and on the way to the Boathouse.
They also serve donuts, bread and bagels. So, if you or someone in your party has food allergies, it’s a great stop to grab breakfast items and take to your resort for the morning.

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC is a great stop to grab some breakfast items for your or those in your party with food allergies.
Pricewise, it is not more expensive than what I would expect at Walt Disney World or for gluten-free items.
Cupcakes are around $4.95, but if you just need a ‘shot’ of something sweet, you can get a shot of frosting for $1.50. A small coffee is just $2.00

It’s not every day that I can look at a dessert menu like this and know that I can eat anything I want off of it. Erin McKenna’s is a dream for those of us with food allergies and a sweet tooth.
I opted for the thin mint cookie. I questioned paying $3.95 for a cookie, but I flashed my Annual Passholder card for 10% off.
The blogger in me thought I should purchase something a bit more ‘ photo-worthy.” But, boy, do I sure miss the taste of Girl Scout Thin Mints!
Here’s the deal. It didn’t have the crunch of a real thin mint. But, I didn’t expect it to.
It’s a gluten-free cookie.
And for being a gluten-free cookie, it hit the spot and helped me remember what a thin mint actually tastes like.
It was really all I could ask for in a gluten-free cookie, and far better than many others I have tasted (or made).
I am only ‘gluten-sensitive.’ I occasionally eat something with gluten…if I think it may be worth the icky feeling I get. ( It usually isn’t.)
I feel for those with severe food allergies and appreciate how accommodating Disney tries to be. Adding Erin McKenna’s to Disney Springs is just another feather in their cap for being one of the happiest places on earth!
All in all, the service at Erin McKenna’s Bakery was friendly, the bakery is adorable…and I can pick anything I want and knew it wouldn’t make me feel icky. What more can you ask for!?

Hey Keri! Everything about this post was delicious! Those cupcakes are making me want one now haha As a vegetarian and someone who tries to stay away from gluten, I was super excited to find out Erin’s was also gluten free! Many people are surprised to learn there are so many DELICIOUS vegan and gluten free options all over Orlando that are still super yummy!
