If you are planning your next trip to WDW with kids, you may find yourself hunting for Disney autograph books.

It’s a pretty big thing. Collecting Disney character autographs is a fun way to engage with your favorite Disney faces!

We’ve done it. My kids love it.

But then we get home and a month later find the random book under a bed…usually scribbled on because it was mistaken for a sketch pad.

Sure, you may treasure yours and put it in a memory box, post-trip. My kids may be Disney-spoiled because of how often they get there.

Whatever the reason, I wanted more practical options when it came to a Disney autograph book.

If you are looking for a simple, easy idea to collect Disney autographs, look no further than this book. Turning this regular book into a Disney autograph book has created some of our most magical Walt Disney World Memories and favorite character meet and greets.

I found the BEST!

I actually mentioned this idea in this post on my Top 5 Must-Have Items for a Stress-Free Disney Day and referred to it in a gift guide for Christmas.

But, I really wanted to elaborate on this Look and Find Book, because it has created some of our most magical Disney experiences and favorite character interactions.

This book was given to Jessie as a gift a while before the idea dawned on me to use it as an autograph book at Disney World.

She was at the height of her princess infatuation and went CRAZY about this book. We had to go through every.single.page over and over and over again!

So, one day, I decided to take it to Disney and use it as a book for her to collect Disney princess autographs! Best.idea.ever.

With multiple pages each featuring a central character, the characters would sign their respective pages. Oftentimes, they would spend several minutes going through the page with Jessie and Josiah.

Allow me to let some photos do the talking:

Even Prince Naveen got in on it!

My favorite moment was when Jessie went to meet Merida.

Merida made the comment ” Look, there’s a book with me in it!” and sat with Jessie for 15 minutes. It got to the point that I began to feel guilty about others in line and started saying things like ” Thank you, Merida. We should let others have a turn” and the CM “magically” scolded me and said ” Merida is spending this time, because she wants to spend this time.” Yes, ma’am.

Characters who were not included in the book simply signed inside the cover.

And, since we are annual pass holders and are fortunate to go to #WDW several times, there are even a few characters who signed the book twice.

Jessie’s Look and Find Book has been signed by every princess, some twice!

This particular book does not include certain Disney princesses (Pocahontas, Anna and Elsa), so those princesses signed inside the cover, as well. However, since Disney has several of these types of books our collection has expanded.

I think what I enjoy the most about these books, is that they entertain the kids long after you have returned from the parks.

This just seems like a more practical use of money and space on the bookshelf.

The book ranges between $7.99-$9.99 (depending on the day) on Amazon, but you can sometimes find older ones for less….or check around at your local second-hand shops. I found one there once.

With so many options, it is easy to find one with your child’s favorite characters!

Needless to say,  we love these Disney look and find books and continue to fill them. I always recommend them to mamas planning their Disney World vacations.

But, I do think my next venture may be Christmas ornaments! Check out this great post from April at PixieDustSavings.com on how to do DIY Disney Autograph Ornaments! or visit my Pinterest board below!
